Terms and Conditions


Viewing in advance: We welcome viewings prior to a booking being confirmed. This is done by appointment in order to facilitate our routine and the well-being of the pets in our care. Viewing appointments can be facilitated on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 10 am only.


Booking, deposit and payment: All bookings should be made in advance. Bookings are confirmed only on the receipt of a 20% non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit. The remaining balance is payable in full upon arrival.

Paying your deposit and confirming a booking also confirms acceptance of our terms and conditions.

Cash, cheques or bank transfer are acceptable payment methods. We do not accept card payments.

Telephone enquiries are not accepted as a confi­rmed booking.

Emergency contact and vet details must be provided. All dogs must be given kennel cough treatment two weeks prior to arrival. Cats must have an up-to-date vaccine. Male cats over six months must be neutered.


Change a booking: Seven days’ notice should be given to change a booking. If notice is not given the full balance is applicable, and any additional days will be charged at the normal rate.  


Cancellations: For cancellations a full or part payment of the balance may be charged as follows:

  • During Peak Season, 14 days' notice should be given to cancel a booking. If suitable notice is not provided the full balance is applicable.

  • At all other times, 7 days' notice should be given to cancel a booking. If suitable notice is not provided the full balance is applicable.


Any customer failing to honour a confirmed booking will be liable for the payment in full. Refunds cannot be made if a pet is collected early.


Drop-off and collection: We are open for drop-off and collection between 9 am - 10 am Monday to Saturday and 5 pm - 6 pm on Sunday.

We are closed for drop-off and collections on Easter Sunday, 12th July, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

It is stressed that all dogs MUST be on a lead at all times, including in the car park.

All cats should be in a safe and suitable carrier.


Data Protection: We retain information about our customers and animals for business purposes only and we do not share your data with external organisations. At any time, you can request (in writing) that we remove your personal data from our records.
